Adam decided at a young age to be a dinosaur when he grew up.

That didn't pan out, so he went to study English, with a Film Theory minor, which would lead you to believe that he wears black turtlenecks and thick black glasses, but really, he just ended up falling asleep a lot in class.

Fortunately, he did manage to pick up quite the taste for the cinematic arts, but without the fashion sense. Also, he's Canadian, which means he would ride to work on a moose, if he didn't work out of his own igloo.

He lives outside of Toronto, and makes money designing the occasional website, troubleshooting the occasional computer problem, running the occasional errand, and keeping computers from catching on fire and killing people in a horrible orgy of destruction. But mostly, he has a computer job.

In his spare time, he runs a left-winged, humor-related pseudo-column related website at www.rockout.org, which he refuses to update on days that end in "y."

Adam spends far too much of his money on things that aren't his girlfriend. Like, for instance, movies. A lot of movies. He has a peculiar thing for the Japanese cinema, and has managed to collect himself a rather sizable, but still modest collection of movies, most from eBay, and many of suspect quality and confusing manufacture.

He likes to watch them with the subtitles turned off and pretend that he didn't drop out of Japanese class, which he did.

When he isn't buying more movies than he could conceivably ever watch, he tries to figure out ways to become a writer without living in a shoebox, eating the shoes out of said box, and starving like an artist in general, because let's face it: starving artists don't buy a lot of DVDs.
