Though he'll call you a liar and storm out of the room if you remind him, Erich Asperschlager was born in New Jersey. After bouncing around the northeast and New England (home of his beloved Red Sox), he settled in the Finger Lakes region of New York, where he spends his days working on graphic design, his Saturdays painting still lifes, and his nights up way too late watching TV. If you ask him what Art is, he'll shrug. Ask him about his uncommon last name, however, and he'll go on about being one of only five known Asperschlagers in the world, and probably tell you the Federal Government should declare him an endangered species and give him his own wildlife preserve. He's weird like that. Oh, and never challenge him to a pun competition. It'll only end in tears.
