I wouldn't be who I am without Virginia Woolf novels, Before Sunset, Nina Simone's music, Jean-Luc Godard films, Marguerite Duras, Alain Resnais's poetic fragmentation, Scott Fitzgerald's lyricism, Beethoven's concertos, Anne Sexton's poetry, Hélène Cixous's philosophy, Mochas at Caffè Nero in London or San Diego coffee shops or the countless other things that are meaningful to me.
