Patrick Rogers lives in New Hampshire and did that whole independent video store gig in high school. Kind of like Randal from Clerks but without the biting sarcasm, wit and social commentary. It did mean he got all the free movie rentals he wanted though. And then, as high school graduates are wont to do, he went to college.
Having just recently graduated with a B.A. in Film Studies (It's a B.A., right?)he's now watching more movies than ever. Horror, action, foreign, sci-fi... He'll watch pretty much anything but he likes pretty much nothing. Typical cynical and elitist film geek for you, huh?
Favorite films (cause he loves making lists): The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China, Yojimbo, Seven Samurai, Serenity, Time Bandits, Babe, The Wild Bunch, Robocop, Total Recall, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Moulin Rouge, The Thin Red Line, Days of Heaven, The Tree of Life, Paths of Glory, Trainspotting, Pride and Prejudice, Hard Boiled, Three Kings, The Wages of Fear, Oldboy, Memories of Murder, The King and The Clown... and maybe, just maybe, The Legend of Drunken Master.
He also thinks that Lost was one of the worst shows ever put on air and will gladly tell you why.
