Steve was forged in the fires of small town most have never heard of, on a rock in the North Atlantic known as Newfoundland. In his formative years he discovered a love of films second only to his love of conquering his enemies, seeing them driven before him, and hearing the lamentation of their women (technically, all one love.)
What time he has that is not spent conquering neighboring fiefdoms is spent managing a video rental store that is not a Blockbuster video, and preparing his two lovely daughters by teaching them the true nature of the Riddle of Steel, so that Crom will not laugh at them and cast them out of Valhalla.
He also enjoys a night or seven a week in the film-bunker (patent pending), with the soft glow of his rear-projection LCD, a cold drink, and a decent 5.1 surround mix accompanied by either a great movie, a great game, or a little of both.
Steve's taste in films is not typical for a person who travels in film circles, running the gamut from some of the latest mainstream blockbusters to classic films, to some of Hollywood's most notorious trash. His DVD collection has been known to wreak havoc on the weak-minded.
Steve is a long-standing rabble-rouser and all around nuisance here in the Verdict's own Jury Room forums, and is more tolerated there than accepted. He figured if he hung around long enough they might give him a job. Sadly the same behavior over at Scott Free only earned him a restraining order. He can be heard or read with alarming frequency over at Pixelverdict.com.
