I love films that push my own boundaries and this one certainly did. If you haven't experienced DOGTOOTH yet, it's on limited Netflix streaming till March. The direction is quite genius and it's got a Pasoliini feel to it. This is going on my top ten for 2010.. If you are easily disturbed I would suggest avoiding it.. The metaphors and symbolism through out the film should be studied by film students everywhere.. Check it out!

Dogtooth is definitely not for everyone, but I loved it. I've never seen a Pasolini film; it reminded me of Michael Haneke's work, especially his earlier films. I was pleasantly surprised that this was nominated for a best foreign film Oscar. Well deserved, as it's better than more than a few of the Best Picture nominees.
