John Carter (of Mars) trailer

It's here.

If it weren't for Andrew Stanton being at the helm, I would assume this was an awfully generic space adventure. I'm optimistic, though.

Goddamn! I think this looks visually stunning. Stanton (strongest of the Pixar boys in my mind) also assure I'll be there. This just looks so deliciously "Burroughs!"

Now #2 on my most anticipated list behind The Hobbit.

Word. The visuals are freaking hypnotic, particularly with the (surprisingly) low key music.

Conan is something like 3 weeks away... That's here and now for me. The Hobbit, John Carter, Prometheus, Oblivion and Dark Knight Rising are a more "anticipated - might as well be time travelling into the future to see them/hope i'm not dead before/if they come out." kind of deal.

It give me sort of a native american meets Stargate vibe.

I need to see more though to make a judgement.
