Netflix had flooded their instant watch with lots of foreign stuff i am unfamiliar with.
has anyone stumbled on anything as good as Korea's Memories of Murder or the scandinavian Insomnia?
basically your traditional murder detective non spy thriller.
the US hasn't been making many of them lately and I am feeling peckish.

Try Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries from Down Under, quite good....

It may not be exactly what you're looking for but Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame is a particularly entertaining bit of ancient Chinese hokum.

i saw that on DVD...it was good. i liked it better than the books
regarding the streaming version...am i the only one who doesnt' get the subtitles when i try watching it?

Had no issue with the subs streaming through my PS3.
