"It's creepy to see spiders crawl around on people, because spiders are the scariest thing on the planet. Scarier than clowns."

Um, no. You are absolutely wrong. Wrong I tell you. Nothing is scarier than clowns. NOTHING!

How about spider clowns?

Didn't Stephen King cover this in IT?!!?

I was NOT on the couch. But I would have been if there had been a clown outside. Crap, if there had been a clown outside I would have been in the fetal position under my bed.

Spiders and snakes don't molest children or bury drifters in their crawl spaces. Just sayin'.

Recluse spiders do have poisonous bites that decay human flesh and leave 3 inch deep holes of nothingness in your body - just sayin'

I'll take that over what a clown would do to my holes.

Did you know that Cannon shopped a sequel around (in the late 80's, if I remember correctly)? Shatner was attached, and there were trade catalogs featuring the proposed storyline (also featuring the artwork for their attempt at producing "Spider-Man") 8)

Imagine if a Clown teamed up with a Brown Recluse Spider.

What I'd like to know is where is the Blu-ray release? I own the first DVD release of this movie and if I'm going to double dip it better be for a Blu-ray version.

I saw this on TV back around 1980 or so, and it scared the living bejesus out of me. My Dad had to come into my room at night and explain that the movie was fake, and tarantulas don't spin webs anyway.
