"Galaxina/The Crater Lake Monster" Blu-ray

One notable point of trivia is missing from the review of this disc.

Galaxina stars Dorothy Stratten, the Playboy centerfold who was tragically murdered by her boyfriend. (Her story was depicted in Star 80.) She didn't do many films, so more than a few people may be pleased this one has been reissued, flaws and all.

Too bad no bonus material was added about the late Ms. Stratten and the making of the movie.

Yeah, the DVD and HD-DVD releases of "Galaxina: 25th Anniversary" from a few years ago (I own the latter) had commentary track, deleted scenes, extended look at those videos the crew watches on intergalactic TV, trailer, etc. None of that made the BD re-issue, and that's a darn tooting shame because they help contextualize the flick a little and make it easy to rewatch.
