Interesting that you state:

Very interesting. Thanks for the heads-up. I'd certainly be interested in seeing the proper version of the film and re-evaluating it if it ever gets a release. As I indicated, I felt the performances and a lot of the raw elements were quite strong, but the structural decisions were disastrous.
