R.I.P. Jack Kemp

Former GOP congressman (and Bob Dole running mate in 1996) Jack Kemp has passed away at 73 of cancer: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/03/us/03kemp.html?_r=1&hp. Even when I disagreed profoundly with Kemp's opinions the man was never anything less than classy, a fair-minded and decent human being. The GOP could use a lot more men/women of Kemp's caliber in their leadership. :|
