Limbaugh's comments re: "The Dark Knight Rises"

I don't mean to start a big political hassle; it's just something I thought of and that, so far as I know, no one else has put together. The scene is a panel at ComicCon:

LIMBAUGH:...you see, Bruce Wayne is Romney! Romney is Bruce Wayne! A man who's using his wealth to benefit society. A proud entrepreneur.
BANKY: What's an entrepreneur?
LIMBAUGH: Shut up! Now, in the new Batman movie, the villain is called Bane. You see? Bane! Bain Capital! It's clear what they're doing. They're saying that, deep down, all Republicans, all right-wingers really want to be supervillains!
BANKY: Well...isn't that true?
(Limbaugh pulls a gun and starts firing.)
LIMBAUGH: Conservative rage! Conservative rage!

Well, I just thought it was funny. Please let me know if anyone beat me to the punch on this.

I can simplify it all for you. We take freedom of speech seriously. Freedom of speech however has an ugly side which is exploited easily and often.

I remember in Germany (details are vague due to my extreme age) a huge political storm the size almost of Watergate because someone compared Bush to Hitler. In America we usually compare politicians to Hitler, the Anti-Christ, or anything that fits the agenda at the moment.

I guess the short version is that politicians trash talk or hire media personalities to do it for them. I still insist the average Republican has very little in common with Rush. The man's insane but entertaining so he gets passed off as someone who knows what he's talking about.

I can simplify it all for you. We take freedom of speech seriously. Freedom of speech however has an ugly side which is exploited easily and often.

It's mostly people who champion their own free speech while not respecting anybody else's opinions.

Then you choose a political side and pretend that all the country's problems are caused by the other side, while you think your politician is a decent honest human being who wants to better humanity.
