Hmm...pretty good year for games. Too bad I couldn't afford any of them. I'll be able to cast my votes for these games in about three years - I just got Dragonage: Origins this year.

Should SWTOR really be on the list? It's only been out (officially) for a week. Although I know a ton of people who played the beta...

It's been pretty much live since the end of August, with close on a million beta players - And it's in amazingly good shape right out of the gate, so i figured why not.

That said, it ain't getting my vote.

I'm in the same boat as Josh. I've played exactly 3 of these games (2 only in the past week): Dead Space 2, Skyrim, and Batman: Arkham City. It'd be irrisponsible for me to vote without having played all the games (that would qualify me to vote for the Academy Awards though), but basically Skyrim is the better game while Batman is the funner game. So Skyrim is to The Godfather as Batman is to Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Can I write in GLaDOS (Wheatly too) from Portal 2 as nominations for best character? I've never laughed that hard at a video game in my life. "So how are you holding up, because I'M A POTATO!"
