Doctor Who 2009 Specials

Information is starting to leak out as the first of David Tennant's final four Doctor Who adventures has begun filming. Jeykll co-star and Bionic Woman Michelle Ryan is in the next Who adventure, "Planet of the Dead", while rumors circulate that she will end up being in the TARDIS when Tennant morphs into Matt Smith. Also featured in "Planet of Dead" is Brit comedian & actor Lee Evans. "Planet of the Dead" is due to hit BBC sometime this spring.

In other Doctor Who news it was today revealed that Freema Agyeman will return for one of Tennant's farewell specials. This from The Sun.

As a next gen Doctor Who neophyte, I can't say enough about David's accomplishments with this role. Having grown up during the Tom Baker years, to me he was The Doctor. But David has gone above and beyond the call of duty, leaving a lasting imprint on the franchise. Granted, his work is only made possible by great writing, direction, and production values, alongside a superb supporting cast, but together they have brought the series to new heights. Cheers! He will be missed.
