Not sure how many of you, if any, bothered to give the show a try after all, but CBC has renewed Republic of Doyle for a second season. Production starts in June for a Jan 2011 debut.
I just finished Episode 10 and i'm having a ball with it. It's great to see a "Newf" show that doesn't cater to the classic view of our fine province. Also great to see some of the old crowd i hung around with for years doing well and getting such great word of mouth.
