I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread on this yet.

I'd lost track of the show a while back, so I was a bit lost at the beginning. But the first episode looked OK to me. The only problem is that, given the way dramatic TV in general works these days, I'm just wondering what unutterable tragedy will befall one of the characters before the mini-series is done.
