IMO this isn't as great a deal as it sounds. I checked and you can trade in your copy of A Christmas Story for blu ray for ~$10.00. + shipping (I didn't check Warner's shipping costs). You can buy the blu ray at Amazon for $16.00. 6 bucks is 6 bucks I suppose, but this sale is not one I'll be jumping all over.

I wonder if they send you the Blu-ray + the case or just the disc itself (ala Criterion) The illustration implies that it's both but they only want you to send them your DVD disc. I'm so anal about stuff like this.

I checked into the offer, and you send only the DVD disc itself back, and they send you the whole Blu-Ray magilla, case and all.

But as a Canadian, I'm left on the outside looking in again...
