Also, This:

Cinephiles will be especially pleased to note that both the original 1979 theatrical version and the recut Apocalypse Now Redux will be presented for the first time on home video in their original theatrical aspect ratios (2.35:1).

Yes, a loud and clear 'FU' to Stottaro from someone that matters (Coppola). I can safely throw my butchered 2:00:1 DVD out the window, this is the real deal! 8)

And here's something that hasn't been revealed anywhere yet but we've officially confirmed it here at The Bits: Hearts of Darkness, which was originally filmed in 16mm, has been scanned in HD and will be presented in full 1080p on Blu-ray!
- Digital Bits. :D

Hit every store in the damned city yesterday looking for my launch day copy. Had my whole evening planned around this damn disc... and of course - NO ONE in the damn city had it. It was my last stop (CD Plus) where the manager pulled out a memo mentioning a recall due to a "production issue". Anyone else in Canuckistahn manage to secure a copy through traditional retail channels?

If we got screwed because of bilingual packaging, I may have to choke a bitch.

I'm too lazy to dig up a link, but I read somewhere this week that the Canada issue is due to missing booklets in the 3-disc set and mislabeled discs in both sets.
