As someone who paid good money to see it on the big screen, all I'll say is I still want my $7 and 130 minutes back. A painfully hamfisted attempt; the action does earn merits for being truly old-school, but the story unfolds at a snails pace and what does unfold fills a third of a page, tops.

I definitely got a sense that there were maybe two action set-pieces and everything good was packed into the trailer.

I'm kinda itching for blu-ray, and i know the UK Blu is region locked... bastards... same thing they did to me with Solomon Kane.

And the UK trailer on that amazon page is even cooler than the IFC Films US one!

It did indeed (most HMVs around my neck of the woods carry it), and we actually got a better version, depending on your point of view. The US disc is only 1080i, whereas the Canadian disc is 1080p. Unfortunately, the Canadian disc only contains captions for the hearing impaired, instead of proper subtitles. Pick your poison.
