According to retailer information, MGM Home Entertainment, in conjunction with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, will release The Misfits on Blu-ray on May 10. This 1961 drama, directed by John Huston, featured the final film perfomances of movie stars Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe. No special features have been listed at the moment.

The film itself is very welcome but if the no special features part is true that would be an opportunity missed since the making of this film is a entire story unto itself. I seem to recall that in the early days of DVD there was a disc about the trials, tribulations, and tragedy concerning the filming of it.
