Olive is coming out with a stunning slate of 50s Westerns, one of which has been anticipated for years as one of DVD's unreleased classics:

The Hangman (Michael Curtiz, 1959) June 26th
The Night of the Grizzly Bear (Joseph Pevney) June 26th
Johnny Guitar (Nicholas Ray) August 7th
Rio Grande (John Ford) August 7th
Pursued (Raoul Walsh) August 21st

And for those who missed them, three other classic westerns street today from Olive:

Run for Cover (Nicholas Ray, 1955)
Denver and Rio Grande (Byron Haskin, 1952)
Silver City (Byron Haskin, 1951)

I've got a couple of their flicks (Hannie Caulder and Sands of the Kalahari), and both are quite strong. Olive doesn't have the resources of a Criterion or KINO, but they seem to select their catalog titles with care to find good prints and give them a bit of spit and polish, while retaining the film's original texture. I've linked to some captures below.
