Help Me Decide Between two Box Sets!

Such a dilemma, I can only get one! Twilight Zone-The Definitive Collection or Deadwood-The Complete Series. On one hand the TZ set is a great price at about $150 and I know what i'm in for but, on the other hand, I love Westerns but I've never seen Deadwood so.....?

(I'm leaning towards TZ since 50% off might not happen again anytime soon and I recently got burned by my own match when I hesitated on the X-Files box set at that great $124 price and it shot back up to $275. OUCH! My own fault!)

If you can get TZ for a good price, go for that. I love Deadwood but wouldn't think in a million years to recommend the complete series as a blind buy.

Another vote for TZ. I got it and never regretted it. It's one of the crown jewels of my collection. Good price, too. Go for it.

As much as DEADWOOD is a show that demands to be checked out, TWILIGHT ZONE is a classic that trumps it hands down without any hesitation. You get more stars, more budding young directors, and a show that never gets old which can watch in any order. I don't think there is even a contest here.

Wow, two very fine shows. However, I agree with most of the folks here... The Twilight Zone is probably the way to go. Plus, Deadwood will undoubtedly be getting a Blu-ray release within the next year or two... probably better to wait for that, anyway, if you're planning to be BD-enabled at some point.

Man, if Columbia weren't goddamn retarded and actually moved this out a year or two from Return of the Jedi, we'd have a blockbuster classic of at least Monster Squad proportions... maybe even Willow or Legend!
