Picked up Mad Men Season 2 Blu at Best Buy today. Had a 22.00 credit.
Also just scored Batman Begins (Limited Edition Gift Set Blu-ray) and The Dark Knight (Blu-ray Gift Box w/Bat-Pod) on eBay both new and both just over 20.00 w/free shipping!
And I got a copy of issue #17 of FOOM with the cool Stan Lee as a bunch of different Marvel heroes cover.
This may be the item I will have him sign when I meet him at Comic-Con. It would look cool framed.

I just hope it shows up, after all you were not put upon this world to get it.

Which edition was it? The 10-foot tall roadblock or the little old basketcase on wheels edition?

Doesn't really matter, as the UPS truck is probably welded shut from the outside, and covered with brick by now!

Sit tight, keep the home fires burning, and if the mailman doesn't show up by dawn, call the president.

By the way, the disc is GLORIOUS!

Stagecoach arrived in the mail, only it was the single-disc, as opposed to the 2-disc edition that I ordered. Not wanting to give up the movie, though, I talked the Chapters online rep into giving me a refund on the price difference between the two, despite my having ordered it through their used and rare marketplace from the US.

Placed an order with amazon.uk and recieved it today! Amazing. I have never had anything from Europe arrive so fast. Sorry but my head is still reeling. Anyway included in the package were:
Doctor Who: The Black Guardian Trilogy-"Mawdryn Undead", "Terminus" & "Enlightenment".
Tutti Frutti....supposed to be one of the great BBC series from the 1980s about a reunited rock band and stars Robbie Coltrane, Richard Wilson & Emma Thompson.
That Mitchell & Webb Look: Series 3....Bafta winning comedy dup in their third sketch series.
The Mighty Boosh: Series 1,2 & 3-Special Edition. Surreal comedy at its most bizarre.
Psychoville....new series from two of the members of The League of Gentlemen. More surreal comedy weirdness to follow.
The BBC Sherlock Holmes Collection....includes the surviving episodes of the late 1960s series starring Peter Cushing as Sherlock Holmes and the three recent BBC/Holmes productions which feature Richard E. Grant, Douglas Henshall from Primeval, Rupert Everett & Richard Roxburgh.
Hopefully looks of good viewing to follow.

Yeah, 6 days for me from placement to arrival of my last .uk order.

Got some amazon/ebay packages in the mail today myself:

Area 88 - The series and the OVA collection
Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal (Director's Cut) - mainly because i wanted to have Trust and Betrayal on a single disc, and it was dirt cheap.

Man, my credit card HATES this strong Canadian Dollar. If we hit parity with the Yankee paper again I may well end up bankrupt.

I'm thrilled if I get my orders in under a week but 3 days is an all time record. I'm with you on the exchange rate. I really, REALLY wish it would go down a little bit as it seems like I buy much more stuff from overseas than I do stateside. Or should I say I'm much more interested in stuff from across the pond than I am from stuff over here?

Turnaround on Amazon.ca for me lately has typically been less than 24 hours - which is absolutely ludicrous!

Now if only Canada Post could shape up with shipping from the US! It's retarded that i can get something from England in 6 days, but it still takes 10-14 to get something from the US.

Target has all five seasons of Angel on sale for $12.99/each. Also had The Simpsons S8 for $20. Great deals, and I really want all of these, but I resisted. Other priorities right now. About killed me to pass them by, though.

Okay, not sure why I posted that on the "What Did You Buy" thread...

B&N was running a 50% sale on selected TV shows and one of those was the first season of Mad Men so I picked it up to see what all the fuss is about.
