Icons of Suspense: Hammer Films

A whole bunch of Hammer I have never seen before....details & cover art right here.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Icons of Suspense: Hammer Films on 6th April 2010 priced at $24.96 SRP. This three-disc set collects together six-films. They are: Cash on Demand, Stop Me Before I Kill!, Maniac (1963), The Snorkel, Never Take Candy From A Stranger and These Are The Damned.

The films are presented in their original aspect ratios (a mixture of 2.35:1 and 1.66:1 anamorphic widescreen) with English Mono audio and English SDH subs.

I know the drill--I'll watch one of the more obscure titles, rave about it to Andrew, he'll take a year to watch it, only to pan it.

Your best bet is to praise the universally reviled title. I'll undoubtedly love it.

what i have been pleased about, is that the hammer negs or even their prints all seem to be spotless.

There's all kinds of holes in my Hammer collection. This would certainly help with that.
