Evilenko - A small film that didn't get much of a release on these parts. I heard about it from the Malcolm Mcdowel documentary on the "A Clockwork Orange" Blu-Ray.. It's a disturbing film about a sick and twisted serial killer that tormented Russia in the 80's and 90's.. based on a true story.. Kind of looking forward to exploring it.

Well, i guess it's not MUCH worse than the first one... *snicker*.

Watched both, will review, but honestly, Guyver 2 is better than the first one. Still bad, but better.

Maybe i have em confused. Was the second one the one that looked like a CTV original movie? Or was it the one with the hip-hop alien/monster/thing and Mark Hamil?

The first one is the one with Mark Hamil. Guyver 2 is the one straight to video one featuring the credited screenwriter of X-MEN

Moon: ~$6 at a closing Hollywood Video. I felt bad for all the copies as they were the only good movies left for sale on the new release wall and no one was buying them.

Cronos is the Guillermo Del Toro version.

As for Zombie's Halloween, I'd been on the fence for that for a while and caved. Honestly I've been to a few autograph shows in the area in the past year and I've seen half the principal cast in person (met Malcolm McDowell last week!!!). I feel like I'm missing out on something and have to see for myself.

Toy Story DVD/BD combo pack (DVD packaging)
Toy Story 2 DVD/BD combo pack (DVD packaging)

Ended up paying only $15.98 plus tax with a special Target promotion and two $10 coupons. Not bad at all, especially since they come with a free ticket to see Toy Story 3.

The Killer. Part of me hates myself, because I find the dramatic elements absurdly overwrought, but there is ample badassery to compensate. Besides, it's been a holy grail of sorts since I started buying DVDs (prior to having seen the movie, or having good taste).

Killed the month with a bang (tax return! BOOYAH!)

- Halo Legends (bluray)
- The Hurt Locker (bluray)
- Whiteout (bluray)
- Sherlock Holmes (bluray)

- X-Blades (PS3)
- Eternal Sonata (PS3)
- Wet (PS3)

- Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (PS2)

and three brand new, still sealed rarities for PS2:
- Fatal Frame
- Fatal Frame II
- Fatal Frame III
Now the question is, do i open these bad-boys and savor the terror of three of the scariest games of all time, or do i leave em sealed for the collector's value. I bet i last less than a week.

^^^ This man is out of control, someone grab him while I scissor his credit cards (with scissors ;-))! I'd sit on the "Fatal Frame" games and start playing everything else you got. You'll forget about the "Fatal Frame" bug for a good long while and it'll be easier to resist the temptation to open/play them when you remember them in a few months/years... voala, kid's college fund in the making. :)
