The Devil's Backbone is more deserving of the Criterion treatment, but beggars can't be choosers. Glad to see an official confirmation of the Videodrome release, too. It will be mine.

A light month, but I'm definitely onboard for both of these. I suppose I should be grateful for limited lineup, as Criterion's September/October/November slate is going to empty my bank account.

I think CRONOS is a fine choice! Should be one worth looking at again on Blu-ray or DVD with the Criterion treatment.

Doesn't look like much new has been added to that already stellar treatment of VIDEODROME. But then I doubt it needs much more. What a great release! I wonder if it will come in a box that makes it look like a VHS or Beta tape.

It's probably Del Toro's weakest effort, and that's counting Blade 2.
