alternate dvd rental sources

netflix frustrates me sometimes, their search engine's a joke...and they don't get any of of the new Made on Demand issues that the studios have been producing.
I am looking at trying http://www.classicflix.com/ they only feature films made before 1970 -
i was most impressed with their catalog, they pick up all the Print on demand stuff
and you can actually search it by decade, studio etc...
Their rates seem a little high, ($9 per month for 1 at a time unlimited)
but it may be a way to taste-drive obscure releases i wouldn't want to buy on spec.
any other options out there beyond Netflix?

Redbox is only a $1 a night for each rental. But it holds modern releases, so that's out.

well if i want a new release that would be the place i would look.
anyone ever seen inside one of the machines?
i wonder how many of each disc it stocks.

What about GreenCine? I don't know what their classics library looks like, but they definitely lean more toward the artsy-fartsy than Netflix.
