I'm fine with Little Robin as long as it doesn't do constant impressions of Little Jack, Little Sassy Black Lady or Little Gay Stereotype.

Barnes & Noble is having a 50% off sale on all blu-ray titles through the 14th of this month and I picked up Secret Sunshine & The Battle of Algiers, both from Criterion.

Bit the bullet on two import releases I've been dying to get for some time. Hammer's Paranoiac and the Otomo-designed Freedom.

I would have bought several things at the B&N 50% blu-ray sale, if they had put any of the new blu-rays out. The regular DVDs were out of all the stuff I wanted but none of the blu-rays. Funny that.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark Original Remastered Special Edition - This movie scared the poop out of me when I was a kid! I'd really like to see the remake but there are so many mixed reviews on it.. Anybody got any opinions on Googleo's new version?

Tried another B&N and found most of the stuff I was looking for, even the stuff the clerk today had not been released on blu-ray...from Criterion, Orpheus, if.... & The Complete Jean Vigo and because ass-kicking kids are cool and I need a double feature movie with Kick Ass, Hanna.

World's Greatest Dad is quite a film in my opinion. It was directed by non other than Bobcat Goldthwait (one of my all time fav. comedians) its quite a unique and dark movie. The kid who plays Robin Williams son is a really good young actor, he creates this character you just loathe to the point that it gets downright disturbing. If you like VERY dark comedies than I think you'll really dig this movie. Goldthwait also wrote the screenplay and frankly its a surprise he was able to get the film made, its subject matter is way edgy for today's standards. Williams is excellent by the way.

X-Men: First Class DVD

I preordered from Fox Connect and got a free 'Team Erik' T-shirt along with it. I might get Thor later on, when the price drops.

Star Wars: The Complete Saga - Wasn't particularly excited, and in spite of all the hype, controversy, and my apparent disinterest, as soon as that overture kicked in in DTS HD and the "New Hope" text crawl started rolling, I had a sudden sense of giddy enthusiasm and a smile a mile wide.

Mimic: Director's Cut/blu-ray...if for no other reason than it has a Del Toro commentary.

Aw, man, don't act as though it needs an apology. Mimic is flawed, but it's also the balls.
