Robert Wise's THE SOUND OF MUSIC: 40th ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION COMBO BOX SET (Blu-ray) - $25 as Amazon's Deal Of The Day; since I didn't own it and the BD is OOP (but plenty of stock left to last a while) I went for it. :D

Maybe, but reading all seven of those books and watching all eight movies still feels shorter than one viewing of The English Patient.

Obsession - Damn Netflix not having all of De Palma's movies available, so I have to buy them. They don't have Home Movies either but that doesn't looks good enough to buy. Thoughts?

Home Movies is interesting, but it feels like a film school experiment. In fact, that's more or less what it was: De Palma used film students as his crew, and their lack of experience certainly shows. But it's an intriguing watch and is certainly worth checking out. Still, last time I checked the DVD was out of print and wildly expensive.

Crap, perhaps that's why Netflix doesn't have it  I'll have to check it out if I can ever stumble into it. Thanks.
