Just a clarification: Sony did indeed have a separate widescreen letterboxed release of EATING RAOUL at the same time as their fullscreen release. As was their practice, you really had to search to find the letterboxed version, a la GERONIMO, BITE THE BULLET or SWEET AND LOWDOWN. The new Criterion is very welcome.
