I forgot my daughter picked up The Lone Ranger for me. A blind buy request from me but I have a weakness for the character since it was one of the staples of my tv viewing as a kid. :D I still watch the reruns daily on the LeSEA station here. :)

Borgen (series 1and 2) and Homeland (series 1 and 2), as Christmas presents for Mrs Polynikes. I have yet to see Homeland, but my work colleagues praise it. Is Borgen available in the USA? Danish political drama which has attracted a decent following here in Great Britain. I have watched the first four episodes and it has not disappointed.

Homeland is really good. Edge-of-my-seat good. I've only seen Season 1 but recently got Season 2 for a decent price so I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.:)

WCW War Games (Blu Ray) The good old days when you had any combination of Dusty Rhodes, Nikita Koloff, The Road Warriors, Sting, etc., taking on Ric Flair & The Four Horseman or The Dangerous Alliance in the late 80’s to early 90’s. Too bad when WCW became too corporate that they banned any blood in the later versions.
Arrow Season 1 (DVD) On sale for $19.99 at Best Buy. I’m a right wing nutcase and even I liked this show about the liberal vigilante.

Carrie '13 (Blu-ray)-I wish the original would get a facelift. I don't think it's ever looked very good on DVD or Blu-ray. :(
