Nothing - that's the beauty of it. I much prefer it when ads do more than 'this is our product, buy it now!'.

Some of the most memorable commercials appear to have little or nothing to do with what they're selling. Doesn't stop them from being highly effective...

Thanks, I really enjoyed that. I always thought she never got enough appreciation. I wore out my Blue Angel cassette tape hitting rewind back in the 80's.

The phone conversation scene from Dr. Strangelove, I just can't stop laughing at this movie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nCDLzVtQlg
The great Bill Irwin (with Karen Ziemba) in an hysterical concert version of Sooner Or Later (by Sonheim, for the movie Dick Tracy). Great clip, really enjoyable to see someone doing this song, which might otherwise vanish.
... later that evening, and with the window shades drawn, Mary had a baked potato, two helpings of string beans, and a little lamb.

My first memories of the guy was the whole Terminator fiasco. And i was a Terminator fan at the time, so yeah, combine that with his AWFUL appearance on the Dune miniseries DVD, and the row he had with Penney Arcade, and well, i guess my perception of the guy is a tad influenced.

My first memory of the guy was the link I pasted and how the school was abuzz the next day over that episode. The aliens looked schlocky even then but what an incredible show for the mid 60s. Dominic Frontiere's score set a nice mood.
