POTTER question (warning spoilers)

Postby MovieAddict » Fri Jul 13, 2007 6:43 am

One of my favorite 'scenes' from the book was when the Weasely twins exact their revenge on the system. I know much from the book could not possibly be placed into a 2 hour move, but was this scene in it?

It is, I don't know how it is compared to the book though.

Ask Adam.

You don't have to put the word "scenes" in quotation marks (don't you love the irony here?). Novelists do divide books into scenes. Chapter divisions are a whole other kettle of fish, and some find it useful not to set chapter divisions until the book is done. So it's appropriate to talk about scenes in a book.

They did, they do, and it's glorious.

They cut much of chaos down from the novel, of course, but the Weasley firework blowout spectacular might just be the highlight of the film from a pure face-grin perspective.

Not to throw in a plug for next gen, but the last 15 minutes of that movie is going to sound phenomenal on TrueHD.

What he says is true. Not that I'll ever know, of course.

this was supposed to follow temporalwisdom's post, not adam'ss, it takes on a different context now. I was being somewhat sarcastic to temporals somewhat off topic response, but it appears I am indifferent to adam's response. Not true, I'm excited by his response and look forward to seeing it in the movie.
