The Scorpion King 2: Rise Of A Warrior

Great review by Judge Johnson, and I'd like to know if this is the first case of a prequel to a prequel. Now what truly amazed me is that in the finale we witness Rand Couture transform into a giant INVISIBLE black scorpion. Not since Cave Dwellers has a hero had such a challenge. What a brilliant way to save on CGI.

Hmmm. Good question. Hannibal Rising was a prequel to to Red Dragon which was a prequel to The Silence of the Lambs. I guess that fits.

If the Scorpion King producers keep following this trend, I assume we'll eventually see Scorpion King 3: Pubes of a Warrior and Scorpion King 4: A Warrior Makes Pee-Pee in the Potty.

Not really, methinks. Red Dragon wasn't a prequel to Silence -- Harris wrote Red Dragon seven years before The Silence of the Lambs. Plus, Manhunter was made prior to Silence, so the books were actually filmed in the correct order.

Also, it (and by "it" I, of course, mean "you") hasn't been putting the lotion on its skin as frequently, so it's going to get the hose soon....

The new CLONE WARS is a prequel to a prequel, and a sequel to a prequel. That has to make it more unique than this case. About the only good thing you can say about it from all reports.

I think it's also a prequel to a sequel that was itself a prequel.

I think it is a movie where the original casted the Rock as the lead role, and now they probably could not even afford the Rock. Does not look promising at all.

I don't know, I kinda miss Truman Capote's presence in the pop culture zeitgeist...so there's that, too. Sort of.
