Superheroes I'm much more a Marvel guy. That said I have several DC/Vertigo statues including a kick ass Hellblazer. And I think Randy Bowen is just so much better than everyone else out there.

Bowen's Conan The Barbarian is damned awesome, and DC sucks... there, i said it.
I used to defend Batman, but then i think about that book for the last 15 years or so and i sigh.

on a "month to month" basis, Marvel generally destroys DC.

Hmmm. I'm tempted to bite, Steve T. Power, but I haven't got the energy today.

I've always preferred DC to Marvel, but based on sales figures in recent years, I'm in the minority. I've never been a big collector of, um, "collectibles" (my love of comics has rarely translated into memorabilia purchases), but I certainly enjoy looking at everyone else's collection. I do have a few Batman-related items around the house.

Speaking of Vertigo, has anyone else seen those new Death/Sandman bookends? I would actually love to own those, but the price tag is a whopping $300.

Yeah, i should have added, with a caveat - DC's specialty lines are awesome, and Marvel hasn't produced anything that can touch em. I'm mainly referring to their monthy super-hero regular series.
