I'm thankful that 2008 has been an awesome year for me and mine, my wife is great, my kids are GREAT, work is great, and everyone is healthy and happy - after the emotional roller coaster of death, depression, and rebirth that late 06 and early '07 were.

I thankful that this year my life finally seems to be getting back on track with a purpose and in less than a year, I'll be working, doing something that makes me truly happy.

I hope everyone here has at least one peaceful day this year they are able to enjoy with those they love.

I'm thankful for:
Good friends, good family, a good job and a growing business, some GREAT people on this board, and I'm mostly thankful for a country that decided 230 years of racism was enough, and elected the best guy for the job, regardless of the color of his skin.
2009 is going to be a blast!

I'm thankful for a lot the usual, I suppose.

My family, my friends, being able to write, being able to retain a sense of humor in the face of increasingly miserable times, being able to fall in love in spite of being kicked around in that department a couple too many times, getting my drinking back under control.

Stuff like that.
