I have: none of those things. A plain old 20 inch Orion that I was given as a gift when my 20 inch Zenith died (my poor Zenith! I saved my allowance for a year to buy her! ) in 2001. My mom has an HDTV downstairs, but aside from the fact that she watches stuff most of the day, she's paranoid about the possibility of images being burned into the screen.J.M. Component is the mimimum you should connect to the PS3, because anything on that machine seen in composite or S-Video is a crime. Got a Netflix account? For an extra buck or two you can switch your DVD queue to Blu-ray. With 160GB of space you can download a ton of stuff and keep it. Welcome to the next level.

Also, Assassin's Creed is readily available for dirt cheap now. Get it. Immediately.

Also, if you like gorgeous-but-short action hack and slash, Heavenly Sword would make a nice weekend rental.

I'm going to savor this. After I play MGS4, I think I'm going to give Uncharted a try.
