Information via DVD Times:

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment have unveiled their Blu-ray Disc release plans for 2009. Along with title announcements, Disney have announced that going forward all Disney-branded theatrical and Platinum titles releasing on Blu-ray between February and October will include a DVD version of the film. Previously seen on their Sleeping Beauty Platinum Edition Blu-ray release, future ‘Combo Pack’ titles will include High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Pinocchio: 70th Anniversary Special Edition and the next Platinum Edition title which is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in October.

In North America WDSHE will also be packaging 14 of its new Blu-ray Disc titles with a DisneyFile digital copy of the movie. These titles include High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Monsters Inc. and A Bug’s Life. Yep, you read that right, Pixar have two catalogue titles due later this year on Blu-ray Disc. Further titles announced for North America are listed below...

Morning Light (Summer) (WDP)

Can't wait for Pinocchio to hit Blu-ray. I'm excited about a lot of these releases, but Pinocchio seriously has the potential to be one of the best hi-def releases of 2009, if this year's Sleeping Beauty set is any indication.

What the hell's going on with Finding Nemo?

That was in their first promotional material - and it's nowhere to be seen.

Anything produced by Pixar that hasn't yet been released on Blu-ray needs to be release immediately. That is all.

I'd think people would be pretty excited by Pulp Fiction hitting Blu-ray.

Pulp Fiction on BD makes me feel all squirmy in my bathing suit area. Like when I was at a preview showing and nobody in the audience had any idea what they were about to see, but they knew it would be awesome.
