And then we have to wait until Christmas for any more Who, where, from what I am reading, it looks like RSD is throwing everything including the kitchen sink into Tennant's farewell specials.

In regards to the creature effects in that clip, all I can say is "Holy Langoliers."

I have read about all three companions, Donna's grandfather & The Master. Personally I would love to see RSD clean up the whole Donna mindwipe thing because of all the less-than-they-should-be series finales the way Donna got shafted is the only one that made me angry.
Oh and I went back and watched Political Animals as well as Moses Jones, both which feature incoming Doctor Matt Smith, and I'm really kind of looking forward to him. I can defintely see the "it" quality that stopped Moffat in his tracks. There was interview with Who writer Paul Cornell and he mentioned that Smith reminds him of Tom Baker and I can kind of see that as well. 2010 is so far off.

While I have no problem with a return appearance by Donna's grandfather and the Master, I'm not really eager to see another "everything plus the kitchen sink tossed in" finale. And, I say again, NO ROSE TYLER! She's permanently retired and returned more times than Sean Connery did from Bond.

C'mon, it's RTD. We're going to get Rose Tyler's clone who is having a 4-way with a Cyberman, a Dalek, and Captain Jack.

It's not official as in BBC press release official but John Simm has been spotted working on the current Doctor Who location.
