Digital Copies! What are they for?

Postby Darth Enalan » Tue May 26, 2009 12:03 pm

Greetings Everyone at DVD Verdict!

I just bought two newly released DVD movies - Taken and Valkyrie. I enjoy both movies very much and highly recommend them. My questions are about the Digital Copies with each film. I paid an extra $6.00 for them and I am completely oblivious about what they are used for. I do not have an IPOD. I have an old Laptop, I have the DVDs for my DVD player. What are the digital copies for? Should I just buy the $19,95 copy of DVDs from now on?

Perspicatious Yet Perplexed. John

If you want to download and view your movies on your laptop, iPhone, desktop computer, or other portable device, then the digital copies are fine. If you're perfectly content with using your DVDs to watch the film, then the digital copies are a useless extra. Don't waste your money on a two-disc special edition if the only significant additional extra is a digital copy.
