The Six Degrees Game

Postby Zanarkand » Fri Jun 26, 2009 12:56 pm

This is a game I have played many times before, I hope you guys will like it.
It goes like this. One must connect 2 movies using no less and no more six degrees. Using actors or directors only.
It is much easier than it sounds. In a few turns you will not even need to use Directors.
An example: Connect Batman: The Dark Knight to A Streetcar Named Desire

1. Take Michael Caine from TDK was in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Steve Martin
2. Steve Martin was in Roxanne with Daryl Hannah
3. Hannah was in Wall Street with Michael Douglas
4. Douglas was in Falling Down with Robert Duvall
5. Duvall was in The Godfather with Marlon Brando
6. Brando was in A Streetcar Named Desire.

Usually there is not just one way, but several. Once you connect the two, leave another two for the rest of us to connect.
Give it a chance, you may enjoy it.

The first:

I've always played it as six degrees or fewer:

Munich featured Geoffrey Rush

For exactly 6:

Munich featured Eric Bana

3. Robert DeNiro was in Meet the Parents with Ben Stiller
4. Ben Stiller was in Tropic Thunder with Tom Cruise
5. Tom Cruise was in Jerry Maguire with Cuba Gooding, Jr.
6. Cuba Gooding Jr. was in Pearl Harbor

See if you can work it out now!
