This week’s show feels a lot longer than it actually is, but is that good or bad? You decide. Erich, Dave, and Adam tackle a full slate of games in Now Playing, including Red Faction: Guerrilla, Mirror’s Edge, Far Cry 2, Crackdown, N+ and Punch-Out!! multiplayer, Boom Blox, and Metroid Fusion. After a couple of false starts (edited out and best forgotten), the gang tackles this week’s News rundown: a 360 update, Rock Band user-created content, The Beatles: Rock Band track list woes, black Wiis (but not for us), Streets of Rage hits the iPhone, and the Summer of Arcade gets pricey. The show usually ends with Symposium Ad Nauseum, but this week devolves into a brainstorming session for a Saved By The Bell brawler. Help us Jimmy Fallon, you’re our only hope!

Erich, I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying the Metroid games for the GBA. Metroid is my favorite video game franchise, and those two games are great. I am still hoping we see a sequel to Fusion sometime in the future instead of going back in time like with the Prime series, and I'm guessing “Other M” after seeing the trailer.

I was shocked with all that discussion of a Saved by the Bell game and no one mentioned a great boss battle: Jessie vs. Drugs.

That was a wacked out podcast. Hmmm, a Streets of Rage game featuring the Saved by the Bell kids.

We already have Zack as Axel, Slater as Max, & Screech as a wimpy henchman. How bout Kelly "Killer" Kolpowski as Blaze & Lisa can take Skate's place as one of Adam's relatives. (Anybody would be an improvement over Skate. Man, he was so weak in SOR2.) Thanks to Showgirls, I can see Jesse as 1 of those scantly clad henchchicks who try to fry you with their electric whips. Finally, Mr. Belding would become Mr. X.

Frankly, I'm impressed you all made it through the entire podcast. Good SBTB ideas, too. Jessie Vs. Caffeine Pills... I like it. We'll have to make room for a Hot Sundae rhythm/music minigame.

Man this game is going to be awesome.
