DEFINITELY Black Lagoon. Great action series that shares the gene pool with 80's Action flicks.

Do you have any personal experience with the other two series, Steve? I just realized that Black Lagoon is on my Christmas wish list, so I'll have to hold out on it in case it arrives under the tree, as awesome as it sounds from what I've heard (I was blanking, for some reason, when I made the poll). As a fan of GitS, Ergo Proxy and Le Chevalier D'Eon, I like what I see of both of them, but it's always hard to get a sense of a series' tone from reviews and stills.

If you dug Ergo Proxy you'll probably enjoy Technolyze. It's a tad on the insane side. Gankutsuou on the other hand, i couldn't get into really. I can see it being compared to Le Chevaliers though.

Truth be told you'd probably be fine with either of the three. I just prefer Black Lagoon ;)
