Heed Erich's advice. (Williams Pinball Collection)

The local Gamestop had the last new copy of this game within a 60 mile radius and I snagged it.

It's actually down to only $10 new as well, but easily worth 2-3x that. It's a load of fun, even though some of the challenges are insanely tough and one table has a pretty bad camera angle.

Have you tried Zen Pinball? How does it compare?

It's cheap so I'll have to look into it. At the least it can make a gift.

Never had my name in a thread title before. Nice.

I haven't played Zen pinball, but the Williams Collection is a definite steal at $10. That's less than a dollar per table. The only table I've played where the camera angle is kind of annoying is Tales of the Arabian Nights. For all the tables, though, there are somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 different camera angles you can choose from. Gamestop has both the 360 and PS3 versions for a tenner new, if you can find it.

I haven't played Zen either, but do have Pinball FX which is made by the same people. It was OK when it was on sale and is a fun diversion, but nowhere near as good as the Williams collection. It feels at times too arcadey on certain tables. However, if you love pinball, it's probably still a good deal. There are some free tables as well as some premium ones, including a new Excalibur one released this week. I just snagged the free Buccaneer table and bought the Street Fighter table when I got the game originally.

The advantage it does have over the Williams collection is the option for online multiplayer.

Now I'm in a pickle. amzon has Williams for the Wii but it hasn't dropped in price yet. I though I should get that version since I have Zen on the PS3. Now it's a waiting game. Gamestop doesn't list the wii version at all oddly enough.

Get Williams on the PS3. It has more tables than the Wii version and much better graphics.

There's a version of Williams for the PSP as well. I think it has different tables, even.

I have both Zen (PS3) and the PSP Williams. I assume the PS3 version of Williams is at least equivalent to the handheld... The main difference is that the Williams collection are recreations of actual, real life tables, whereas the Zen tables are original creations designed for videogaming. The overall camera angles tend to be better with Zen, but Williams has greater variety of challenge.

Honestly, they're both good pinball games, and either one is a quality choice.
