Reference Discs

So i'm wondering what you guys consider your show-off discs when you have friends over and you want to impress them with your hi-def set-ups. I'm also look for suggestions on the audio end. For video the best looking disc I own is Speed Racer. It's like candy for the eye and it has all the depth & color I could ever ask for. Audio, like I said, I'm looking for help.

Any Pixar feature will work on the video end. As for audio, try Master & Commander.

If I want to show off Blu-ray then I pop in AVATAR. Honestly that one has the best look to me... But all of the above work well...

For audio try: War of the Worlds chapters 5 and 13 come to mind but the whole film is a audio showcase.
Saving Private Ryan the two bookend battle scenes naturally.
King Kong The whole time spent on Skull Island is a constant surround sound experience.
Master and Commander The first time I can recall surround sound coming from above the speakers.
