I'm trying to remember which day was colder; an opening day in April at Wrigley Field or a late September ballgame again at Wrigley in the bleachers.

Why do bands like The Who keep on touring, even when half of the original band is dead? Mind you, I'd have killed the band after Moon's passing - like Led Zep did once they lost Bonham, or at least I'd have changed the band's name like Joy Division did when they became New Order. I always respecte Bauhaus because they didn't keep the band running once things weren't working out - Peter Murphy went on his solo career and the other guys became Love And Rockets...

Been reading a lot of "100 best albums ever!" lists lately, and i'm honestly thinking that less than half of them deserve to be on there. Music journalism makes me insane.

Meanwhile, Why is it that every other coffee in my vicinity (save for gas station tar) tastes better than Tim Horton's, but none of them can give me that same caffeine jumpstart that Timmies does? Maybe it's the meth amphetamine in Tim's coffee that does the trick?

I think closeness to the ocean can be directly correlated to the amount of fiddles, accordions and hand drums in your local music. I live in a veritable musical smörgåsbord of fiddles, accordions and hand drums.

Just listened to the new IRON MAIDEN album for the first time, and it's the first time I've been disappointed by the band since "No Prayer for the Dying" in 1990 (the only other letdown being 1998's Virtual XI.) It's not that it's rubbish, it just isn't as strong as their last few, which ranked with their career best in my book.

I'm about to spend 4 - 5 hours watching some "renowned" folk singer songwriter, after just spending 2 hours at a BBQ listening to this smarmy douche and his wife drop a shock and awe campaign on heavy metal that would make you think Black Sabbath had taken a crap on his lawn, Dio threw a baseball through his window, and the entire late 80s Thrash scene took turns with his old lady. Really looking forward to it, I must thank my wife and in-laws for such a marvelous Friday.

It's part of the "folk musician" DNA. The reason Kev hasn't been successful is because he hasn't been a hate mongering douche when it comes to other genres of music.

Sure, but whatever chemical additive that Timmies puts in their tar has much more addictive qualities than regular old coffee... My money is on Meth Amphetamines. No one in the country will test the shit because they fear what would happen if some lowly politician attempted to ban Tim Horton's coffee...
