I'm with Harold on this. It's great that they want the stuff out, and they want our money. I just don't understand the problem they have making limited runs. With suppliers like amazon, deepdiscount, and best buy who are willing to carry endless assortments can't they use more traditional methods to sell these? If they want to cut out the middleman that's fine but it doesn't explain it fully.
Even beyond that it's not as if each movie will be printed only once. If they are going to bother to put them on the list they should at least do it right.
I watch HDnation and it gives a list of new Blu Ray releases every week. If some of that stuff has made not only to disc but to Blu Ray, then anything on Sony's list should be just fine. You know Blu Ray has made it when it when you see stuff like Gwar and forgotten Carrot Top movies on the format.
