Was this a blind buy, or had you already seen it? There's a lot to like about the movie--too much, in fact--and it ends up feeling overstuffed compared to Brick, which really deserves a region A blu release. I have a feeling BB will be one of the flicks I end up dipping into rather than watching all the way through. Hard to complain when the whole thing is done with so much wit, though. I can't wait for Johnson's next flick (Loopers--near-future sci-fi assassins, according to IMDb).

Front Mission Evolved - PS3
Iron Man 2 (blu-ray) - A blind buy based on first day sale pricing and Sarah's love of the first flick. What little I did catch on the TV's at work looked like a bit of fun.
The Thin Red Line (blu-ray) - No, it ain't the mythological hour longer cut, but this flick has finally gotten the respect it deserves, and DAMN, that is one nice transfer.
As the ancient Tibetan philosophy states:"Don't start none... won't be none...".

This Movie is Broken
The Crazies remake, which sputtered to a pixelated stop seven minutes in when I tried to watch it last night.

Iron Man 2.

For the kids, I pre-order Beauty and the Beast from Amazon (and threw in Return of the Living Dead for myself so I could qualify for free shipping).

Sorry, been out of this section for a while. Bloom was a blind buy, which I probably wont watch till October is done and my annual Halloween viewing is out of the way :)

Also, picked up Iron Man 2 Blu Ray and the 1980s version of The Blob on DVD.

Feeling the urge for some 90's action cheese, so I picked up Marked for Death, not expecting much. Though I only watched about an hour of it last night and while it's every bit as poorly written/acted as I expected from a Seagal flick, the action sequences are surprisingly well-staged, and Jamaican voodoo gangs always make for colorful villains. I'll catch the rest tonight.
