RIP Irvin Kershner

May he rest in peace and God be with his family. I have to admit, I have never been a big Star Wars fan, but there is no doubt about the strength of his work in The Empire Strikes Back. I also happen to have a great fondness for Robocop 2, having caught the film as a kid (how could I hate anything with stop motion robot fighting?). And I still believe Never Say Never Again is better than Thunderball.

RIP. Considering the strength of Empire, I was always suprised we never saw more of Kirchner.
